So I use a Canon Rebel XS and either the 24-70mm f/2.8 or the 50mm f/1.4 from Canon. I read advice that you should get the cheapest camera that will work for you and then splurge on lenses, so that's what I did. The 24-70 cost almost 3 times as much as my camera, but it opened up a whole new world in photography for me. The 50mm f/1.4 is the mid-price lens for 50mm (among a cheaper f/1.8 and more expensive f/1.2), I just got it at Christmas, and I'm enjoying the sharper focus from a fixed-length lens, though it's less convenient out in the garden since I can't zoom at all. I dream about upgrading my camera (and giving the Rebel to my little sis) but don't know if I use it enough to justify the cost of upgrading. Photography can bankrupt you if you're not careful!VWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17539135776275337661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2644837848136749892.post-5013717689595364862011-01-25T08:21:19.938-08:002011-01-25T08:21:19.938-08:00What a great idea. They were suppose to be $2.49. I wanted them to add some color to this long winter. Well everyone else must have had the same idea because there was not even a leaf left from one. LOL! A lot of people must need flowers indoors to lift them up this winter.Lonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07060003333138052194noreply@blogger.com
